DAY # 2

Hi and welcome to this Awesome Blogaversary blog hop for Ashley!! Welcome back for day #2. If you are coming from Cicily then you are in the right place.
In this hop we had to make a card. It had to have one of the following themes incorporated in the project.
Clean & Simple
Kraft Cardstock
Faux Stitching
Paper Piecings
Shape

Ok for day #2 I made a Christmas Card. I used my stamping up circle punch and punced out circles in pretty Christmas paper that I had in my stash ( I dont know what line it is). I lined them up around the card to represent a wreath. I made a flower for the top of the wreath with my flower punch from Mcgill. I cut out the word JOY with my cricut and put across the bottom. I did faux stitching around each circle. Simple easy card to give to someone this Christmas.

I will have some blog candy to give away. It will be a surprise what you will receive. Think of it as an early Christmas gift from me to you. Please make sure that when you comment that you leave me a way of getting in touch with you.
I hope you are enjoying the hop

I decided since Thanksgiving is coming around I would start off with a Card with pumpkins on it. I used four elements that were suppose to be used. I used Kraft Cardstock, Paper Piecing, faux stitching ,and Shape.
Thanks to Ashley and her great tutorials that she is posting on her blog now, I figured out how to make a shape card using my MTC program. I went with a simple top note shape since this was my first time doing it. I used Kraft cardstock and used some pumpkin piecings from Treasure box Designs. I used some burlap that was lying around at the bottom to make it look like "hay" they were sitting on. I did faux stitching around the outside of the card.

I hope you are enjoying the hop and will come back tomorrow to see more card ideas.
